Almost everything that you buy at retail price is negotiable. Shoes is a great example. If I need shoes, I’ll go directly to the clearance section. I’ll find a pair of shoes that I like and bargain the price down further. You can also negotiate the price of the full price shoes. Typically retailers have about a 40-60 percent mark up on their cost for goods. You can almost always get 5 -10 percent off a pair of shoes just for asking. I once bought a pair of boots listed at $70 for $15 just because I negotiated with the salesperson.
